Naomi Saul, Speech & Language Therapist & Director
Through many years of working in the field, Naomi has an expert eye for quickly identifying your specific needs and developing individualised therapy programmes which are interesting and relevant to you.
Naomi qualified as a speech and language therapist in 1995, and with a desire to work exclusively with adults, took her first position in the NHS as a generalist adult therapist.
Over the course of her career, Naomi has held senior clinical positions within several rehabilitation services including a Specialist Neurorehabilitation Unit, Stroke Rehabilitation Unit and Community Brain Injury Rehabilitation Team.
This extensive experience has allowed Naomi to develop highly specialist skills for carrying out detailed assessment, developing therapy programmes, working within an interdisciplinary team and supporting individuals with complex communication and swallowing difficulties.
Naomi has excellent communication skills and quickly develops a rapport with her clients and their relatives. She relishes the challenges that some of her cases bring, working hard with her clients to achieve their maximum potential.
In 2012, keen to further develop her specialist knowledge, Naomi embarked on a Masters Degree in Brain Injury Rehabilitation at the University of Birmingham. Completing the course and a research project over 2 years alongside her clinical role, this experience served to further advance Naomi’s expert knowledge of rehabilitation.
Naomi is a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice. She is also registered with the Health Care Professions Council.
In 2018 and 2019 Naomi organised and chaired two study days for speech and language therapists working in the field. She is always looking of ways to further develop and share her knowledge for the benefit of the clients that she meets.
Outside of work Naomi enjoys running, walking her Labrador and supporting Preston North End.
