I am very proud to be a committee member at Headway Blackpool Wyre and Fylde. During September 2021, I will be joining a group of our Charity Members and our Trustees to (virtually) cycle the entire distance between John O’Groats in Scotland to Lands End in Cornwall!
We are doing this to raise much needed funds and awareness for our Charity – which works super hard to improve the lives of people living with brain injuries (and their carers and families) in and around Blackpool.
A massive 603 miles will be cycled with each Member and Trustee contributing to this huge distance!
A group of 12 people are taking part which is made up of Members of the charity and it’s Trustees.
To keep everyone safe – this cycle challenge will be done virtually. (We hope if the guidelines allow to cycle the last few miles together at the end of September at an accessible bike session in Blackpool; thanks to Wheels for All) This means each person taking part will clock their miles either in their own home on an exercise bike or on the roads near their home.
Everyone is cycling to raise much-needed funds for Headway Blackpool Wyre and Fylde, who support local people with brain injuries; their families and carers.
Can you help boost our efforts and make a small donation?
